The Taj City Utilities project in New Cairo, Egypt, led by GTCI Constructors for Energy & Infrastructure Projects S.A.E. as the main contractor, is an ongoing initiative commissioned by MMHD (Madinet Masr Housing & Development) and supported by ACE as the consulting firm.
Launched on October 23, 2024, this project involves constructing two potable water storage tanks and one irrigation tank, each with a capacity of 5,000 m³.
The scope of work includes the installation of pumps, development of connecting network systems, and enhancement of the surrounding infrastructure through road construction and landscaping. This essential infrastructure aims to bolster Taj City’s utilities, ensuring reliable water supply and sustainable irrigation solutions for its future residents and facilities.
The project includes Supply & Install of LV Poles, MV Poles, MV Substations, Overhead Conductors & MV Underground Cables, and retrofit of the LV existing poles. The project also includes the testing and energization of the entire LV & MV Networks.
The project covers 23 villages in Al Maragha Center as Phase 1, followed by Phase 2 in the near future.
